So I share your frustration but I don't think it's an issue with having LSM involved or anything like that...Honestly, even if they don't achieve national girl group status, as long as the fandom remain consistent with their support they can definitely stay afloat like the other groups in the industry. Some people just expect so much off a single promotional cycle, we already know that this era got some heavy I would much rather as a fandom we show a supportive attitude not this pitty party thing we tend to do when they don't have an overnight success like some groups. But if Loona sound like Itzy now who are so popular in Korea, then why isn't Loona charting better?We just need some luck and to promote in a less busy time. I am worried too that Loona continuing to flop on the Korean charts will lead to even LESS comebacks and eventual disbandment.... But then I see groups like dreamcatcher and CLC who are still promoting despite not being popular ggs in Korea and I feel a bit better. There are also those boygroups who NEVER chart on any of the korean charts and yet they're still around due to the bigger fandom size in and out of Korea....Given Loona's popularity overseas. Driving some of the older fans away. I think it is just very difficult for a non big 3 group with such a small korean fandom to do well on korean charts. Even when twice debuted, they didn't perform well on the charts with their debut song right away (when I say didn't perform well I mean didn't perform well for a big 3 group just coming off of a big survival show). It was months after it came out that it somehow got popular and they went back to promote it. They then followed that up with Cheer up which got them their first win bc of the shy shy shy thing.I don't think its an issue with Loona's sound since everyone says so what and why not sound like I song. I’m sure I’ll read more cool things about Why Not and 12:00 but here’s a little. It hurts me to say this, but we're kinda flopping right now. Why Not is doing much worse on Korean charts than So What did, and So What didn't do particularly well either.Is it the album leak? Or so many bigger groups coming back around the same time? Or is the song simply not good?But this can't go on for much longer. They need a minor hit in Korea soon otherwise they'll never grow beyond this current status.The girls are so talented and they deserve so much more. Someone just needs to give them the right song. If I think of sowhat as the origin to a new story then whynot makes a bit more sense as a continuation of it. And the old story is referenced but truly as lore. What many felt sowhat was missing isn't lore, It was loona's storyline that was missing. (or seemed to be missing). I think Sowhat started a new storyline all together and that's why it seemed like it didn't have lore (although it did have lore) but the storyline was entirely new and so it did  stand out.
